About

We spent years living the corporate life in central London before being confronted with the harsh reality of climate change when we witnessed the bushfires in Australia and lost our home to flash flooding in the U.K. We couldn’t stand by and do nothing so for the past few years we’ve spent our weekends moonlighting as eco conservation volunteers - building wildlife nesting boxes, working in woodlands, cleaning up canals, and surveying the hedgehog population in Regent’s Park.

The time has come for us to combine our passion for sustainability with beer gardens and biodiversity so we’re putting our energy into Pubs for the Planet.

This involves showcasing the U.K’s best eco-friendly pubs, breweries, vineyards and distilleries and encouraging more pubs to take their lead. Pubs serve as the perfect eco hub for events, idea sharing, and plotting new initiatives over an organic pint. Our dream is for all pubs to be carbon negative so going to the pub actually helps restore biodiversity and reduce carbon emissions - giving us the best excuse to go to the pub.
